IRS Acquiring Shotguns

The IRS has submitted a Request For Quotation for 60 Remington 12 gauge combat style pump shotguns. Bids are due by 02/10/10; apparently they want to augment their armory in time for the audit/collection/seizure season on 2009 taxes. The Request For Quotation can be viewed here.

Remington 870 Combat Shotgun

The Remington Model 870 Shotgun is a manually operated, tubular magazine-fed, pump-action shoulder weapon suitable for close quarters combat, MOUT breaching, guard duty, and many other operational roles.

2. Bring all of your tax records for the year in question.

3. Bring your tax advisor and/or lawyer

4. Do not volunteer information. Only answer direct questions.

6. Bring plenty of ammo.
